The third delivery of the 14th over Hasnain was short and wide outside off, tempting Ashton Agar start an aggressive drive across the infield. Positioned in the middle of the attack, Warner read the shot impeccably, tracking the ball as it soared into the air. Showing incredible speed and precision, he ran backwards to cover the distance and timed his jump perfectly.

With his body fully extended and arms outstretched, Warner grabbed the ball above his head, completing a catch that left spectators in awe. Sydney Thunder dominate Perth Scorchers with a comprehensive 61-run win

Thunder registered a a convincing 61-run win over the Scorchers in Match 33 of the 2024-25 BBL at the Sydney Showground Stadium. Batting first, Thunder posted a competitive 158/7, thanks to a steady 53 off Konstas himself and an incredible unbeaten 37 off 13 balls by the man of the match Tom Andrews. He led the bowling of the Scorchers Lance Morriswhich asked for 3/43 but proved expensive.

In reply, the Scorchers slumped to 97 all out in 17.2 overs, unable to counter a disciplined Thunder attack. Chris Green (3/13) i Nathan McAndrew (2/21) shone with the ball dismantling the Scorchers line-up. Significant contributions for the Scorchers came from Aaron Hardie (22) i Jason Behrendorff (17 not out), but the lack of partnership cost them. Sharp play, including two key run-outs, sealed the victory for the Thunder, boosting their playoff hopes.
