Venezuelan opposition leader Gonzalez travels to Argentina ahead of Maduro’s planned inauguration Reuters

(Reuters) – Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez, who says he won a landslide in July’s presidential election but is living in Spain after a warrant was issued for his arrest, said on Thursday he would travel to Argentina this weekend.

Gonzalez’s “international tour” comes days before the planned inauguration of President Nicolas Maduro for his third term on January 10.
