Fox Newsa’s National Correspondent Bryan Llenas reports on the arrest of Luigi Mangione, suspected of killing executive director Unitedhealthcare Brian Thompson, on ‘Your World’.
The Unitedhealth group On Thursday, he announced a new leader of his insurance department, Unitedhealthcare, after the allegedly targeted murder of former executive director Brian Thompson in December.
Tim Noel, who was recently executive director of Unitedhealth Group Medicare and retirement business, will enter the leader in Unitedhealthcare after Thompson’s death. Noel has worked for the company since 2007.
Unitedhealth Group said in a statement that Noel “brings an incomparable experience to this role with proven experience and strong dedication to improving the way health care functions for consumers, doctors, employers, governments and our other partners.”
Unitedhealthcare is the largest American health insurer and provides benefits for more than 50 million Americans.

Thompson was shot and killed on December 4th in Manhattan, where he was to attend the company’s day of the company’s investor. The Law Officers called the murder a “deliberate, targeted attack”.

Thompson worked for the company for more than 20 years, and previously was the chief financial director for several companies, including employer and individual, community and state and Medicare and pension department before he became CEO Unitedhealthcare.

Luigi Mangione was arrested and accused of murder in the murder, and also faces accusations related to spam, weapon and false ID card. Mangionone is facing federal accusations with accusations in New York and Pennsylvania, where he was arrested after the chase.

Last week, Unitedhealth Group announced its latest earnings report in which the General CEO of Andrew Witty thanked the public for “huge condolences and supports” after Thompson’s murder.
“Many of you personally knew Brian. You knew how much he meant to everyone and how he dedicated his time to helping that the healthcare system works better for all people who are privileged to serve,” Witty said. Thompson would “dive with passion and care in finding a solution to improve experience, either for an individual consumer, employer or a public health agency.
