Trump reportedly plans to issue about 100 executive orders after taking office
President-elect Donald Trump has indicated he plans to push through 100 — or about 100 — executive orders after taking office, senators and reports have indicated, with the number varying slightly.
Trump, who will take office later this month on January 20, met with Republicans in the Senate on Wednesday.
During an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Thursday morning, Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said Trump indicated there are nearly 100 executive orders to address issues such as border security and U.S. energy.
“He threw it out – 100 – could be about 100 EO, yes. I believe him.” Sen. Kevin Cramer, RN.D., noted Hill.
Senators were given previews of some of what they were told would be 100 executive orders, two of the sources said. Axios. Stephen Miller, Trump’s pick to serve in his new administration, has discussed plans to use executive powers to address border and immigration issues from day one, the paper reported.
The Associated Press he claimed Trump was preparing more than 100 executive orders starting on Day 1 and briefed Republican senators during the meeting. “There will be a significant number of them,” noted Sen. John Hoeven, RN.D.
Fox News Digital emailed a Trump spokesman seeking comment Saturday but did not receive a response in time for publication.

Signing a slew of executive orders would allow Trump to unilaterally push his agenda after returning to the Oval Office, but GOP lawmakers also plan to work with him to enact his legislative priorities as well.
President of the house Mike JohnsonR-La., and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, RS.D., have both announced their intent to push the president-elect’s agenda.
