Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.
The reusable rocket, New Glenn, was initially scheduled to lift off earlier this week, but was delayed due to “problems with the vehicle subsystem.”
The mission was partially successful after the booster that propelled the rocket into space failed to land on a platform in the ocean.
However, it’s still a big step forward for Jeff Bezos and his company, who have spent years getting to the point of sending a rocket into orbit.
