The newly minted Republican senator set social media on fire with the ‘best’ response to Hegseth’s response to a gender question
Conservatives erupted on social media Tuesday after an exchange between Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth and freshman Sen. Team Sheehy in relation to gender identity.
“How many genders are there?” the Montana senator asked Hegseth on Tuesday. “Heavy.”
Hegseth replied, “Senator, there are two sexes.”
“I know that well, I’m Sheehy, so I agree,” Sheehy replied, referring to the “she” and “he” that make up his last name.
