The video shows the moment Olympic kitesurfer Bruno Lobo saves a woman who appeared to be drowning in the sea.
The athlete was practicing with the new camera while kitesurfing off the coast of São Luís, Brazil, when he heard someone scream.
Lobo, who is also an orthopedic doctor, helped the woman onto her back and carried her to shore with his kite.
The woman appeared to be meeting friends on the shore and leaving the beach. “I just did my duty” and was “in the right place at the right time,” Lobo said in a self-shot Instagram video.
The athlete said he wanted to use the opportunity to warn people on social media that “the sea is really very dangerous” and that “the tide can pull you into the sea”.
