Karin Yaniv filed a lawsuit against her local UAW branch on Friday, claiming that she and other Israeli Jews were excluded from full union participation on the basis of her ethnicity. The lawsuit states that union members have acted hostile, discriminating and anti -Semitic ways, which her lawyers say it is a violation of the Civil Rights Act and the Law of California.
“The union of the union’s anti -Israeli union has created an enemy’s work environment for many of us in the campus,” Yaniv said Fox News Digital. “They discriminated against Israeli members, including me, from trade union activities and on top of all this, attack our academic freedom. This target abuse based on our nationality and faith is anti -Semitic and I want to invite them to the court for their actions.”
