Taiwanese stocks rise at close of trade; Taiwan rose 2.27% according to Investing.com
Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

The best performers of the session were Lemtech Holdings Co Ltd (TW: ), which increased 9.97% or 14.50 points to 160.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Aurotek Corp ( TW: ) added 9.90% or 9.50 points to end at 105.50 and Elite Advanced Laser Corp ( TW: ) was up 9.86% or 28.50 points to 317.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Universal Inc (TW: ), which fell 5.76% or 2.00 points to trade at 32.75 at the close. JSL Construction & Development Co Ltd (TW:) declined 4.50% or 4.30 points to end at 91.30 and Paragon Technologies Co Ltd (TW:) declined 3.70% or 0.85 points. at 22.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange 0 to 0.
Shares in Elite Advanced Laser Corp (TW:) rose to all-time highs; up 9.86% or 28.50 to 317.50. Shares of Paragon Technologies Co Ltd (TW:) fell to 52-week lows; lost 3.70% or 0.85 to 22.15.
Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.66% or 0.51 to $78.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.46% or 0.37 to $81.66 a barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.32% or 8.79 to 2,742 .11 dollars per troy ounce.
USD/TWD fell 0.02% to 32.92, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.04% to 0.22.
US dollar index futures rose 0.10% to 108.93.
