Swedish stocks rose at the close; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.25% Investing.com
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the stock gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session were Electrolux AB Class B ( ST: ), which rose 3.11% or 2.80 points to trade at 94.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST: ) added 2.99% or 0.56 points to trade at 19.27 and Boliden AB (ST: ) was up 2.50% or 8.20 points to trade at 336.20 in late trade.
The worst results of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: ), which fell 2.64% or 1.10 points to 38.70 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: ) lost 2.30% or 3.30 points to end at 140.10 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: ) was down 2.19% or 32.50 points to 1,454.50.
On the Stockholm Stock Exchange, rising stocks outpaced those that fell by 414 to 345, and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.83% or 0.64 to $76.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery fell 0.83% or 0.67 to $80.34 a barrel, while February gold futures rose 0.14% or 3.66 to 2,682 .26 dollars per troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.01% at 11.52, while USD/SEK fell 0.36% to 11.20.
US dollar index futures fell 0.48% to 109.28.
