Stuart Kettlewell resigned as Motherwell manager.
He was appointed February 2023 and went with the Fifth Club in the Scottish Premiership.
In a statement, Motherwell – which faces Celtic Lives on Sky Sports Sunday – they said they “reluctantly” accepted the resignation.
They added that Kettlewell told club director Brian Caldwell “Some of the personal abuse has now affected his family, to a point where they did not want to attend games.”
Assistant manager Stephen Frail will take over the Sunday match with the help of Jon custom, Richard Foster and the staff at the back salon.
