Spurs made an offer for “one of the best strikers in Europe”
It was another up and down campaign Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Ange Postecoglou side are currently sits at 12 in Premier League and closer to relegation than Champions Leaguebut they made it to the fourth round FA Cup and hold a 1-0 lead in the game League Cup semi-final.
However, to give themselves the best chance of going away and finally ending this year’s trophy drought, the club must bring in some real talent this month, the kind of players who can change the game from the first minute or off the bench.
Unfortunately, their efforts to sign one player were unsuccessful.

Mega money deals, controversial moves and big name failures. This is the home of transfer news and opinion across the Football FanCast.
In fact, the report revealed that the North Londoners have already made a bid to take the Frenchman on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.
However, this offer was rejected and, according to Fabrizio Romano, he is now ready to join Juventus, with the Italian journalist giving the deal his famous ‘here he goes’.
Given that Kolo Muani is described as “one of the best strikers in Europe” of former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, it will be a heavy blow for Daniel Levy and company.
He could have been the next Lucas Moura…
Why Kolo Muani could be the next Moura
Okay, before we look at some of the other reasons why Spurs should look to sign Kola Muani as soon as possible, let’s examine why he could be the next Moura for the club.
The first reason is incredibly clear, and that is simply the fact that if he had moved to Spurs this month, he would be following in the Brazilian’s footsteps from PSG to N17 in a January deal – only seven years later.
Another reason is that, like Dinamo’s Sao Paulo native, the former Eintracht Frankfurt star can play across more positions in attackwith both wings straight in the middle.
However, while the similarities to the player who gave Spurs fans one of the best nights of their lives are strong, that is not the only reason Daniel Levy and Co wanted to sign him.
Instead, they should have tried to bring him to North London because when given the chance to start games regularly, he is sensational.

For example, the “very complete” forward, as they call it by Kylian Mbappehe collected quite an impressive catch 12 goals and six assists in 44 appearances last season, averaging a goal share of every 2.44 games.
But in the campaign before that, when he was unquestionably Frankfurt’s main man, he was simply unstoppable, scoring 23 goals and 17 assists in just 46 appearances, which means he scored an average of every 1.15 games.
Finally, on top of his impressive record at club level, a goal-scoring “superstar”, as they call him German legend Lothar Matthauswon 27 senior caps for Francein which he scored eight goals and registered four assists, proving that he can do it at the highest level.
Ultimately, Spurs need attacking reinforcements this month and missing out on Kolo Muani certainly won’t help their cause.
