Spurs are working to sign a £34m jewel with ‘super high potential’

Tottenham Hotspur have been blessed with true world-class talent over the years.

The north Londoners may not have enough trophies to show for it, but the likes of Mousa Dembélé, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and even Dele Alli have all made their mark in the N17 and become stars Premier League.

However, before that group of players nearly propelled the Lilywhits to domestic and continental glory, the club had another, arguably more talented star on their books: Gareth Bale.

The Welsh icon may have shot to fame while playing for Real Madrid, but he was equally unplayable during his time at Spurs, and while the club may not find another player like him anytime soon, recent reports are praising the youngster’s unmistakable likeness for a move this month.

Tottenham target Serie A ace

According to a a recent GIVEMESPORT reportTottenham are one of several teams interested in signing Lecce star Patrick Dogu this month.

Overall, there are several obvious similarities between Dorgu and Bale, and these similarities are also what would make the youngster an ideal player for Posetcoglou, as he could play in multiple roles, has explosive pace and, combined with his stamina, which would could make him a nightmare for opponents in the Aussie’s high-octane system.
