South Korean investigators have moved to arrest impeached President Yoon

South Korean investigators tried to subpoena President Yoon Suk Yeol on Thursday over his failed attempt to declare a state of emergency that led to his impeachment. Officials from the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) and police were seen entering Yoon’s residence, where the suspended leader was holed up, vowing to “fight” against the order, which his legal team called “illegal and invalid.”
