Samson was also absent from Kerala’s squad for the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy after skipping the three-day pre-tournament camp. As a result, he was not considered for India’s ODI squad against England or for the Champions Trophy, despite scoring a hundred per cent against South Africa in Paarl.
