Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the now displaced market Darknet drug, previously known as Silk Road, thanked President Donald Trump for liberating him and hinting for planning for his future in the video posted on social media.
Ulbricht, who was internet knew his Darknet holder, “Dread Pirate Roberts”, was arrested in 2013 because of his part in the development of the online market that connected people who sell drugs and commit others illegal works like money laundering.
It is considered the first modern version of the Illegal markets of Darknet, which have become more widespread over the years. Ulbricht was sentenced to life without conditional freedom.
Ulbricht’s laptop from which he performed most of the maintenance and creating of the site, holds as an artifact FBI In addition to other items such as Teda Kaczynski’s cabin, DB Cooper plane tickets and pieces of the World Trade Center.

Ulbricht said in the video o x thanking Trump for for His forgiveness that in the near future he was looking forward to “reconciling with the free world.” Ulbricht added that the action was a “victory” for everyone “who love freedom and care for other chances.”
“It’s amazing to be free, at the very least. It’s irresistible,” Ulbricht posted on his X account, which he regularly published from prison for 11 years when he was in prison. “For the next, as much as we need, I will be with my family so that we can reunite and be whole and treat. But, a lot to talk, and I look forward to the reunion of the free world.

“Let Donald Trump be known to be his word,” Ulbricht added during about a two -minute video. “Thank you very much President Trump for giving me this incredible blessing.”

The Ulbricht family has been a campaign campaign for years to get some form of release, and also shared a statement after a pardon from Trump on the Freeross.org website.

Trump said he called Ulbricht’s mother shortly after he swore he had fulfilled his promise of the campaign that he would publish Ulbricht, which many believe was unjustly sharp sentences to set up Silk Road.
“I just called my mother Ross William Ulbricht to tell her that in honor of her and the Libertarian movement, which supported me so strongly, it was a pleasure to have just signed the complete and unconditional pardon of my son Ross” Trump told the truth earlier this week after his inauguration.
“The blades that worked to have condemned him were some of the same madmen who were involved in the modern weapon of the Government against me. He was given two life sentences, plus 40 years. Funny!”
