Victims of a $12.5 million London jewelry raid have offered rewards of up to $1.9 million for help in finding the jewels and catching the thieves.
Part of the property reportedly belongs to art collector Shafira Huang, who is said to be a multi-millionaire Instagram influencer.
A lone thief made off with jewelery as well as designer handbags worth more than $188,000 after climbing through a second-floor window of a property in the upmarket Primrose Hill district of north London on December 7. the London Meteorological Police announced.
Police released a security camera image of the suspect wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a gray baseball cap with his face covered.
Items taken in the burglary include an array of distinctive jewel-encrusted necklaces and bracelets, Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags and $19,000 in cash.
Other stolen items included two De Beers diamond butterfly rings, pink sapphire butterfly earrings by Katherine Wang and a Van Cleef gold, diamond and sapphire necklace, BBC reported.

“This is a brazen offense in which the suspect entered a property armed with an unknown weapon and violated the sanctuary of the victim’s home,” Detective Paulo Roberts said.
“The suspect stole £10.4 million worth of jewellery, much of which is sentimental and unique in design, and is therefore easy to identify,” he added.
A family spokesman said metro they believed the robbery was a “pre-planned professional job”.
“Everyone is OK, but just 63 seconds a member of staff would have been in direct confrontation with the robber if they had entered the room earlier,” the spokesman said. – I can categorically say that all the windows of the house were closed.
The homeowners, who were not on the property at the time of the burglary, are offering $625,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
They also offer a second reward of 10 percent of the value of all returned items.
