Randal Kolo Muani completed his loan move to PSG
Juventus announced the end of the loan agreement sign a contract with Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
Even after Kylian Mbappe left PSG last summer, Kolo Muani has struggled for playing time and has barely featured for the Ligue 1 champions since September.
Juventus they paid an initial loan fee of €1 million, which could rise by an additional €2 million depending on various performance-based conditions. Additional costs of 2.6 million euros were also confirmed.
Kolo Muani started to make a name for himself in Nantes, after which he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent in 2022. A breakthrough season in Germany, during which he was also part of the French team at the World Cup in Qatar, soon prompted PSG to pay more than 80 million euros.
But Kolo Muani’s rapid rise began in France. He scored just nine goals in 40 appearances in all competitions last season and has just two in the current campaign.
It was trial links with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The latter reportedly made a bid days before Juve completed a deal with PSG, while there was further Premier League interest from Aston Villa, West Ham United and Everton.
In recent days, the former head of Juventus, Dušan Vlahović, has been linked with a possible departure. Chelsea are the side most linked with the Serbian international at the moment when Christopher Nkunku is available for transfer, and there are all speculations that Arsenal could revive their interest.
