Out of Nistelroooy plays fears with bags after a nasty run
Ruud Van Nisklroooy played fears that Leicester could only release him for 56 days in his reign.
The Dutch manager, who replaced Steve Cooper in December, monitored a series of seven direct defeats in the Premier League. Another loss of Tottenham would equalize the club record set in 2001 on Sunday.
“I’m focused on getting this team out of the situation, that’s my only concern,” Van Nisklroooy said when asked if he was worried about his job.
“I am with the players, I work with everyone in Leicester to get the best from this team and in difficult times. In difficult times you have to be strong, show character, work and persevere and be committed.
“We are united and committed. It’s a spirit and you can see it on the field. I see a team with spirit and struggle. If we continue with that race, it will end.”
Leicester sits on the 19th, two safety points, after last Saturday by a 2-0 defeat from Fulham.
“We know where we are in the league, but for the remaining games, it’s going out of this situation,” added the former Manchester United striker.
“Sunday is a new game where we can start fighting to get out of that period. This is when you need character, fellowship and unity. We are that.”
Ndidi is not for sale
Van Nisklroooy said that midfielder Wilfried Ndidi is a sale this month after guessing him to connect it with a transition to Monaco.
“No, of course not,” he answered the question of whether Ndidi, who is close to returning from a lower leg injury, may step down.
“Wilfred is a key player and a person in the team and in the club and I’m glad it’s almost a team to help the team again.
“We know how much we missed and we know we need it. Wilf is crucial in the coming months, a key part of this team that can get us out of this situation.”

Van Nisklroooy said that the sale of striker Tom Cannon will affect the Sheffield United in the amount of £ 10m, but admitted that he was not sure if he would have new arrivals before the deadline.
He said, “Clearly the situation for the last week, we look at the options for strengthening the team.
“This agreement with Tom is part of that situation and watching players to strengthen the team in the options.
“Not [the club’s commitment hasn’t changed]We are still there. Of course things change when players like Thomas leave. We are still in the process.
“[The first few weeks of the window] We are not lost because we draw our attention to players that we have to improve the team and get the team out of this situation. New players are bonus.
“We have the right back we needed. We will see if we can strengthen, but if not, we will work with what we have.
“It’s a work ongoing. We’re trying to do what is possible in the possibilities. There is no news at this point or anything.”
