New Zealander Melie Kerr was proclaimed an ICC Women’s T20I crisletter in the year 2024.
The New Zealand versatile player Melie Kerr won the prestigious ICC T20I Award for Best Player of the Year in the 2024 crisis. This 24-year-old became only the second new Zealander after her teammate Suzie Bates who won the award.
She won the award after an unforgettable year with a baton. Melie Kerr helped New Zealand to win her first T20 World Cup title, and was also named the tournament player. What made the year even more special was her tendency to provide results in critical situations during the World Cup.
