Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen saves Ihsanullah’s career after 2025 PSL snub.

Pakistani fast bowler Ihsanullah has been making headlines for the past few days after he was overlooked for the upcoming Pakistan Super League 2025 (PSL 2025). Ihsanullah was not picked by any franchise, not even his former team, Multan Sultans, in the recent PSL Player Draft 2025.

After the dismissal, the Pakistani pacer could not contain his emotions and expressed his outburst during a live interview where he criticized Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen for not supporting him and said that he will never play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

However, days after the 2025 PSL draft, Ihsanullah made a surprising U-turn as he started singing the praises of the Multan Sultans owner after the franchise offered him a much-needed opportunity. The right-arm pacer will represent JDW in the upcoming President’s Cup Grade Two tournament.

Ihsanullah’s emotional outburst turns into gratitude as Multan Sultans offer an opportunity

On Wednesday, January 15, Ali Tareen approached Ihsanullah and offered him this opportunity. Multan Sultans showed unwavering support to the talented bowler by allowing him to play for their divisional team JDW in the President’s Cup Grade Two tournament in April and May.

The partnership would see the Pakistani bowler make use of Multan Sultans’ state-of-the-art facilities, helping him regain fitness and form ahead of the domestic tournament to bring him back for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.
