Mixed emotions as people return to the scene of the attack
Bourbon Street in New Orleans has reopened after being closed for an investigation into a deadly New Year’s Eve attack.
The BBC’s Carl Nasman spoke to people about how they felt as they returned to the street where the attack took place.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar was driving a truck through Bourbon Street before he was gunned down by police in the early morning hours of January 1, killing 14 people.
At least 39 people are still being treated in hospitals in the area, according to the BBC’s US partner CBS.
