‘Masterclass’: Bondi flips script on Dem senator after suggesting he’ll arm DOJ
Conservatives on social media celebrated Trump’s President-elect attorney general nominee Pam Bondi’s response to a question from Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, DR.I., during her confirmation hearing Wednesday.
“Wouldn’t it be appropriate for the prosecutor to start with a name and ask for a crime?” Whitehouse said during his questioning. “A prosecutor’s job is to start with the crime and look for a name. Right?”
Bondi responded by pointing out the federal government’s investigations into Trump.
“Senator, I think that’s the whole problem with the weaponization that we’ve seen over the last four years and what’s happening with Donald Trump,” Bondi said.

“They targeted Donald Trump. They went after him, actually starting in 2016. They targeted his campaign. They launched countless investigations against him. That’s not going to happen. If I’m attorney general, I’m not going to politicize that office,” he said. said Bondi. “I’m not going to target people just because of their political affiliation. Justice will be distributed fairly throughout the country. Senator, we must bring this country together. We must move forward or we will lose our country.”
Conservatives on social media quickly noticed the exchange.
