Liverpool are the latest team to be linked with an interest signing Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.
Adeyemi was heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund last season, with Chelsea regularly touted as suitors, with reports in Germany suggesting the Blues remain interested as to continue his search for a left striker.
Chelsea they are by no means alone in their pursuit of Adeyemi, who figures to be a key part of future speculation Manchester Unitedis Alejandro Garnacho. Napoli want to sign the Red Devils striker but have done so identified Adeyemi as a possible alternativewhile Chelsea are also monitoring both players.
Now, Corriere dello Sport add Liverpool’s name to the mix, with Arne Slott’s side reportedly monitoring developments in the 23-year-old’s future.
Adeyemi is believed to have expressed doubts about leaving Dortmund mid-season, which comes as a boost Liverpool since they are the only suitors who are not looking for a January move for the German international.
That reluctance to leave Dortmund this month has fueled reports of that Napoli rekindled interest in Garnachbut the Serie A side have not yet given up hope of signing Adeyemi, who is expected to cost less than the United striker.
If Adeyemi stays at Dortmund until the summer, Liverpool could reach a deal as a number of Reds strikers face uncertain futures.
