Lauren Sanchez drastically changed her outfit after causing fierce reactions from the president Donald Trump inauguration with an underwear-inspired look.
After the fiancee of Jeff Bezosthe president of Amazon, at the historic political event wore a luxurious look, at the inaugural ball she opted for a more modest combination.
Sanchez, 55, turned heads in a row Dolce & Gabbana a golden peach dress, which had a satin corset. The former journalist’s elegant dress had sleeves made of soft tulle that fell over her shoulders. She completed her look with dangling pearl earrings in the shape of a chandelier, and styled her hair in soft curls.

Her make-up consisted of her signature smoky eyeshadow and glossy bare lips, while Sanchez shared behind-the-scenes photos of herself posing for the camera. In her Instagram caption, she wrote “Starlight Ball” with a shooting star emoticon.
Fans commented on her ethereal dress: “You look absolutely stunning and early today on inauguration.”

Sanchez subtly hit back at criticism of her controversial inaugural outfit by “liking” supportive Instagram comments on her latest social media post.
“Girl you ate that inauguration look, don’t pay attention to the haters,” read one positive comment she liked.
Another fan wrote: “You are truly an inspiration to me and surely to many women,” which Sanchez further liked on social media.
However, others continued to comment on her previous bold outfit.
“Usually I love her outfits but the inauguration was a huge fail… the outfit looked shabby.. I think Lauren usually has more style…” the Instagram user wrote.

She skipped the traditional blouse and wore a white lace bustier instead. For a cold day, she added a fur coat. Sanchez’s hair was slicked up.
According to reports, Sanchez’s eye-popping ensemble is selling for at least $1,800.

Many quickly took to social media to condemn her appearance.
“Jeff Bezos’ wife-to-be, Lauren Sanchez, is incredibly inappropriately dressed for a state occasion,” wrote one critic on X. “Someone should have told her that exposing her white lace bra was not acceptable.”

Sanchez appears to have worn the same skin-tight suit at The New York Times DealBook event in December. She then took a steamy selfie for her almost 900,000 followers.

Facebook and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who was sitting next to Sanchez, was also called out on social media, but for a different reason. Spectators of the inauguration could not fail to notice him apparently secretly looked on her chest.
“Zuckerberg was out of control looking at Jeff Bezos’ fiancee!” one X user wrote, while another noted, “This is the most normal thing I’ve ever seen Zuckerberg do.”

On Monday, Trump was sworn in as the 47th president. The 78-year-old has promised a “common sense revolution” as he aims to reshape the country’s institutions.
After five years of dating, Bezos suggested to Sanchez in May 2023. Although the couple has not publicly announced any details about their wedding, Sanchez teased on the “Today” show that she is already preparing for the big day.
