If President Biden’s goal is to piss off as many Americans as possible on his way out the door, he absolutely exceeds these dubious expectations.
Exhibit A is Biden’s (or whoever is running the White House these days) decision to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to election deniers Hillary Clinton and George Soros, who has done more damage to the United States as a private citizen for many years than probably anyone else in the country.
The Oprah-ization of medaling (YOU get a medal too! YOU get a medal TOO!) to Clinton and Soros comes not long after Biden granted a blanket pardon to his son, Hunter, after repeatedly promising not to do it. And after him presented the Presidential Citizen Medal to Liz Cheney and Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss. for their work in the Committee on January 6, which prohibited the cross-examination of any hand-picked “witness.” And for this part, 2004. Thompson voted against certification the 2004 presidential election in which George W. Bush won.

Soros’ award is particularly galling given what his billions in activism have done to the American justice system in particular. Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is a prime example. In 2021, Soros donated $1 million to Color of Change PAC, which shortly thereafter donated $1 million to Bragg’s campaign. Bragg, for his part, has turned cities like New York into dystopian hellscapes, especially in the subway system, where murders and stabbings are currently occurring at an alarming rate.
Take an example Jamar Bankswho recently stabbed two passengers on the New York subway on January 1 and 2. The condition of these passengers is stable. Banks has been arrested (checks notes) 87 times for crimes including gun possession, assault, criminal trespass and petty theft. WHY. IS. HE. NOT. CLOSED?
Soros’ philosophy is simple: Be as soft on crime as possible. Don’t enforce many laws that are already on the books. Let America’s cities become third-word hellscapes. So what is the current president of the United States doing? He is awarded one of the most prestigious awards that citizens can receive.

“Because of this, I will not prosecute most minor offenses through the traditional criminal court system,” Bragg boasted upon taking office in 2021. “Either I will dismiss these charges entirely, or I will offer the accused person the opportunity to complete the program without ever setting foot in a courtroom.”
Soros too financed anti-Israel protestssome violent and deadly, only further divided the country while indoctrinating students into Hamas-loving robots.
One man who is certainly worthy of receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom is Daniel Penny, Marine veteran who saved subway passengers from a possible attack or worse than Jordan Neely, who declared that he was going to kill innocents on that subway and didn’t care if he went to jail for it. President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance invited Penny to the recent Army-Navy game, while Biden had yet to say his name.

Fortunately, not everyone was thrilled to be a photo op for the current administration. The world’s most popular athlete, probably the greatest since Michael Jordan, soccer star Lionel Messi, blew off the event. A “scheduling conflict” was cited, but apparently No. 10 decided not to be a supporter.
Biden will leave as the most unpopular president we’ve seen in decades.
And on his way out, he’s devaluing former special awards like the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the point where they’re as worthless as his word.
