Lauren Sanchez caused a storm of reactions on social media after revealing a stylish look Donald Trump inauguration.
The fiancee of Jeff Bezos, the chairman of Amazon, wore a white Alexander McQueen pantsuit with a fitted satin-trimmed blazer with a dangerously low V-neckline and wide-leg trousers.
She skipped the traditional blouse and opted for a risqué white lace bustier instead. She completed the look with a fur coat for a cold day. Sanchez also turned heads with her signature smoky eye, glossy bare lips and sleek updo.

According to reports, Sanchez’s eye-popping ensemble is selling for at least $1,800.
The author of children’s books, pilot and former journalist was in the company of her billionaire beau, who wore a suit and tie the color of oxblood.
Many were quick to take to social media to criticize the appearance of a 55-year-old.
“Jeff Bezos’ wife-to-be, Lauren Sanchez, is incredibly inappropriately dressed for a state occasion,” wrote one critic on X. “Someone should have told her that exposing her white lace bra was not acceptable.”
“For God’s sake, Lauren Sanchez. Put them away for a day,” chimed another.

When one user insisted that Sanchez “forgot to wear a shirt,” another replied, “Maybe she can get one from Amazon with same-day delivery.” Meanwhile, others joked that the mother-of-three was “dressed by Victoria’s Secret”.

The first lady, 54, wore a more modest navy silk wool coat by Adam Lippes. inauguration. She completed her look with a navy blue silk pencil skirt and ivory silk crepe blouse, along with black leather gloves and a striking wide-brimmed hat.

Summer Anne Lee, presidential fashion historian and professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) said for Newsweek that Sanchez’s fashion statement on the historic day left her stunned.
“I gasped when I saw it,” Lee admitted of the jaw-dropping outfit. “I guess this revealing underwear moment has to be a ‘first’ in inaugural fashion history, even if she’s just an attendee and not part of the ceremony.”

On Monday, Trump was sworn in as the 47th president. The 78-year-old has promised a “common sense revolution” as he aims to reshape the country’s institutions.
A cadre of billionaires and tech titans — including Bezos, 61, as well as Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai — were given prominent positions in the Capitol Rotunda, mingling with Trump’s incoming team before the ceremony began. Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, was also there.

After five years of dating, Bezos proposed to Sanchez in May 2023. Although the couple hasn’t publicly released any details about their wedding, Sanchez teased on the “Today” show that she’s already preparing for the big day.
