Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has slammed Getafe fans’ racist chanting of Alejandro Balde as “unbelievable” and “totally wrong”.
The young left-back was subjected to abuse during the first half of the clash in the Spanish capital, prompting him to approach the referee to inform him of what was said.
Balde told reporters after the match ended 1-1: “I received racist abuse today, I don’t think it will continue to happen.
“It was in the first half, I warned the referee about racist insults and he activated the protocol and in the second half there was no more of that.
