Khloe Kardashian is expressing his frustration to Los Angeles officials over wildfires in California that have forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes and left many families displaced.
On Friday, the star of “The Kardashians” shared a video on social media Fox 11 interview during which Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass had failed the city.
Kardashian, who evacuated her Hidden Hills home on Friday, shared a screenshot from the clip on her Instagram story, saying: “I stand by YOU Chief Crowley!!!! You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn’t even want to say it, but it was the TRUTH!!!!”

“Thank you for being honest,” she added. “Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!”

When asked Friday by Fox affiliate KTTV if Mayor Bass failed the city, Crowley replied, “Yes.”
“Any budget cuts will affect our ability to provide services,” Crowley said. “That’s the fundamental truth in terms of our capabilities. If there’s a budget cut, we’ve had to pull from somewhere else. What does that mean? That’s not being achieved or that there are delays.”

After the comments were made, a source told Fox 11 that Crowley was “ordered” into a meeting with Bass to discuss her remarks. The mayor “wasn’t too pleased,” according to the source.
Representatives for Kardashian and Mayor Bass did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Since the fires broke out on Tuesday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles officials have faced backlash from celebrities for their lack of preparedness and response to the crisis as the fires continue to ravage the city.

During an appearance on “Fox And Friends” on Saturday, Patricia Heaton said the “ball has been dropped” when it comes to prevention.

“The whole city has been decimated and it hasn’t stopped yet,” Heaton said. “It’s very frustrating. A lot could have been done over the last 40 years to make sure the fires didn’t do this to our friends in Los Angeles. The ball has been dropped time and time again.”

“City of LA you want everyone to evacuate but you have a complete gridlock and not one traffic cop on the roads helping,” Gellar wrote on her Instagram story with tags on the official social media accounts for the city of Los Angeles and Bass.
Mauricio Umansky, founder and CEO of The Agency, a real estate brokerage primarily based in Southern California, who also starred in the Netflix series “Buying Beverly Hills,” told Fox News Digital Thursday that he was disappointed in the California government’s lack of preparation before the fires .

“We’re one of the largest economies in the world, California in its own right,” Umansky said. “Los Angeles, you know, being the second largest city in the country, our taxes are the highest in the country.
“And the fact that we were unprepared, I mean, we won’t be able to prevent the accident from happening, but the fact that our government was unprepared. We didn’t clear the brush. We didn’t have water in the hydrants. We were unprepared, and we didn’t spend the money where we should have .”
During an appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Thursday, Justine Batemen said LA officials have failed Los Angeles residents and should “resign.”

“If you’re going to run a city or a state, you have to take care of the basics,” Bateman said. “It’s to make sure your firefighters and police are well funded. … If you’re not doing everything you can to solve these problems if they come, then you’re screwed. You’re useless to us. … You’ve ruined people’s lives.”
