Eyewitnesses have described the moment a ski lift malfunctioned in the Spanish Pyrenees, seriously injuring at least 17 people.
One boy said people were “flying and pirouetting”, when “the whole chair suddenly started bouncing”.
Ambulances and helicopters transported the injured to the hospital.
The cause of the seat failure is currently unknown.
