Erling Haaland says Manchester City are a “special club, full of fantastic people” after signing a huge new deal that will run until the summer of 2034.
The 24-year-old’s previous contract was due to expire in 2027, prompting speculation that Real Madrid or Barcelona could lure him to play in Spain.
But Haaland is now set to spend the vast majority of his career at City, after that signing a new lucrative contract for nine and a half years making him one of the highest paid athletes in professional sports.
