Caitlin Clark sits with Taylor Swift in the suite at the Chiefs game after past calls
Caitlin Clark has finally embraced Taylor Swift offer to watch the Kansas City Chiefs game together.
Clark was seen in the same suite as Swift at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs’ game divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday.
This is the first time Clark and Swift have been seen together at a game, after Clark claimed Swift invited her to join earlier this season.
Clark, a longtime Chiefs fan, said in his Time Magazine Sportsman of the Year interview that Swift and Travis Kelce extended the invitation to Clark when she went to see Swift’s Eras Tour concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in early November.
Clark said he did see three of Swift’s period tours concerts, including two back-to-back nights when Swift was in Indianapolis in November. While there, Clark said fans threw her so many friendship bracelets that she cut off her circulation when she put them all on.

“I had a ton, up to my arm. I had to take them off. My circulation was cut off,” Clark said at the Women’s Leadership Summit in November. – Everyone was just throwing bracelets at me.
At the summit, Clark also revealed that Swift is her favorite female artist.
Kelce said during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast that he met Clark at one of those concerts. He later invited Clark himself on the podcast for an extensive interview.
Clark was also recently pictured next to Swift on the cover of Time magazine’s recent Inspiring Women special issue in late October. Clark and Swift were the only two figures in the top row, with Clark the highest-ranked athlete above veteran sports icons Serena Williams and Megan Rapinoe.
The resurgence of Clark’s previous social media post while in college also brought fans close to her.
“Taylor Swift welcome to the good side,” Clark wrote on September 24, 2023 at post on X right after Swift went public with her relationship with Kelce in September 2023.
The surge in interest in Clark from Swift fans came after a controversial podcast episode hosted by Clark arch rival of Angel Reese in October.
Reese, who has played emotional high-stakes games against Clark since college and has made off-court comments about Clark’s fans, hosted Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, who is a promotional model, media personality, on-air host and entertainment journalist on Instagram.
During the appearance, Nicole claimed that she got relationship hate since Kelce started dating Swift instead of her.
That interview sparked widespread debate on social media, with some defending Nicole and sympathizing with her for the alleged hate she received. However, others, and many who openly identify as Swift fans, criticized Nicole and Reese for the interview.

Many of those same Swift fans declared themselves Clark fans in response to Reese’s interview. Clark and Reese currently have one of the fiercest rivalries in women’s sports, as their respective fan bases have been passionately opposing each other for over a year.
Clark is also associated with Swift’s political beliefs.
Earlier in Clark’s debut season, she liked Swift’s Instagram post announcing the singer’s endorsement of Kamala Harris on Sept. 10.

However, Clark did not endorsing the candidate herself when asked if Swift’s endorsement of Harris was appealing. Clark instead responded with a message about the importance of telling people to vote.
“I think I have this incredible platform for myself,” she told reporters at the Indiana Fever team press conference on Sept. 11. “So I think the biggest thing would be to encourage people to register to vote. I mean this is the second time I’ve been able to vote in an election. That’s the biggest thing I can do with the platform that I have — the same as Taylor.
“And I think you continue to educate yourself about the candidates that we have, the policies that they support. I think that’s the biggest thing that you can do. And that’s what I would recommend to any person that has an opportunity in our country.”
