Brazilian stocks fall at close of trade; Bovespa down 1.15% Investing.com
Investing.com – Brazil equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, it lost 1.15 percent.
The best performers of the session were Azul SA Pref (BVMF: ), which rose 3.63% or 0.16 points to trade at 4.57 at the close. Meanwhile, Embraer SA (BVMF: ) added 3.57% or 2.07 points to end at 60.13 and Bradespar SA (BVMF: ) was up 1.37% or 0.22 points to 16.24 in late trade.
Sao Martinho SA (BVMF: ) was the worst performer of the session, falling 8.07% or 2.02 points to trade at 23.00 at the close. BRF SA (BVMF:) was down 6.96% or 1.68 points to 22.47 and LWSA SA (BVMF:) was down 6.87% or 0.23 points to 3.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the B3 stock exchange by 506 to 427, with 69 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for February delivery rose 1.01%, or 27.50, to $2,745.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for March delivery fell 1.14% or 0.90 to $77.81 a barrel, while the March US C coffee contract fell 1.03% or 3.40 to $327.05.
USD/BRL rose 0.74% to 6.05, while EUR/BRL rose 0.81% to 6.23.
US dollar index futures fell 0.10% to 108.81.
