Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and top batsman Virat Kohli are all set to feature in the three-match ODI series against England national cricket team. According to reports in Sports Tak, it is learned that both batsmen are expected to play all three matches.

The series against England is the only series before the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy
But since the series against England is the only series before the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, both are expected to feature in the series. The Indian national cricket team will host the Three Lions in a five-match T20I series, followed by three 50-over matches in January and February.
Rohit and Kohli are going through tough times in cricket and the upcoming three-match ODI series against England will be a big opportunity for them to come back to form. Both batsmen struggled badly in the Tests in Australia and came under extensive scrutiny, facing much criticism.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma fail to make a mark in Australia series, score low in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
Virat Kohli scored a solid century in the first game of the series, but his form quickly disappeared after that. The first batsman failed in all the innings after that as outside balls caused him to fall in all the innings and saw him receive a lot of criticism as a result.
On the other hand, it was an even worse situation for Rohit Sharma. He missed the first game and then played in the middle order for the next two games. However, the move did not work, as he recorded failures in all four innings. He then decided to return to the summit in Melbourne.
That didn’t work either as Rohit Sharma failed in both the innings there as well. The captain of the Indian national cricket team then accepted a massive call-up for the team as he ruled himself out for the last match in Sydney and let Jasprit Bumrah take charge of the team.
The ODI series against England will be extremely important for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli
