Indian national cricket team fast bowler Akash Deep is all set to be eliminated from the knockout stage of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. According to reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that the fast bowler will go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for rehabilitation.
Akash Deep will miss Bengal’s match against Haryana, which is being played on January 9 in Vadodara. This happened after the fast bowler of the Indian national cricket team got injured during the fourth match of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.

Akash Deep’s injury is the second injury for the Indian national cricket team after the Test series against the Australian national cricket team. After the last game of the series, it was Jasprit Bumrah who was also injured, and so far there is no clear information about his readiness.
