2 dead after separate fires hit Washington, DC
Two people were killed in separate apartments for 24 hours in the capital of the state this weekend.
Dc fire and ems Replied to the 13th NW Street near the Road NW Park just before 10pm on Friday night after a flame report on the second floor of a three-storey apartment. The first answers found a man with dangerous life injuries and drove him to the hospital, but died on Saturday morning.
Firefighters then responded to another flame in a separate three -storey three on Newton Street, near the 18th NW Street. On the first floor, respondents found a woman with injuries on the first floor and also died of injuries at hospital later on Saturday.
The authorities did not publish any information about the identity of the two victims. Authorities say the flames in the women’s apartment made the entire building unquestionable, moving five people, WTOP states.
Investigators have yet to determine the cause of any fire, the socket reported.
Blazes followed a week of heavy police presence in Washington, DC, thanks to the inauguration ceremony for President Donald Trump.
Thousands of officers and agents from the Ministry of Homeland Security, DC City Police Directorates, US Capitol Police, FBI, US Secret Service and National Guard, transferred Capitol Hill and elsewhere in the city throughout the week.
