The national homebuilder funds team members’ philanthropic initiatives inspired by the holidays

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, December 30, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — For the eighth year in a row, America’s Most Trusted Home Builder Taylor Morrison (NYSE:) (NYSE: ™HC) through its annual program, Build Joy, realizes the philanthropic initiatives of its team members inspired by the holidays. This year, 14 team members were awarded $1,000 each for making an impact in their communities by supporting causes that matter to them.

Since Build Joy began in 2017, Taylor Morrison has donated approximately $230,000 to help more than 100 philanthropic causes.

• Donate books to stock shelves for a new library opening at an autism-focused, tuition-free public charter school.
• Buying school supplies and holiday gifts for an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for preschool children with cancer to learn and socialize in a safe environment.
• Supporting a non-profit organization that provides parents who have survived domestic violence with the opportunity to buy holiday gifts for their children.
• Making packages for children going into foster care, complete with clothing, personal care items, stuffed animals and an encouraging handwritten message.
• Purchase of gift cards to help cover the cost of lodging and meals for parents of babies in the pediatric intensive care unit.

IN Naples, FLoffice manager Casey Le uses her Build Joy funds to support Fairytale Endings Rescue, a no-kill shelter located in Charlotte County dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia. The entire facility was destroyed by Hurricane Helene, including vital supplies such as blankets, houses and food. Fortunately, the dogs were rescued in time and now the organization is focused on rebuilding.

“I am deeply inspired by the rescue’s mission to give every dog ​​a second chance at life, and I hope our donation to Build Joy can replace some of the essentials they lost in the storm,” he said.
